V. Produce Ringtone

1. Extract your ringtone from different sources

1.1.
Convert from music file, movie file or CD/DVD
If you want to make ringtone with media files stored in your PC, click
"Open" button to get "Open File" dialog box. Choose the file you want to convert
to ringtone, e.g. Demo.MP3. Click "Open" button to open it and start playing. If
you want to extract ringtone from CD, simply open CD music file, e.g.
"Track01.cda".
1.2. Recording
from online music, film and game
Open IE Explorer and find the webpage for online music or film, and start to
play. Or run a game to play the soundtrack. Click "Wave" button to start
recoding from sound card. Drag
to adjust record volume, and make the amplitude of the waveform around 2/3 of
the maximum value, to get the best quality. Click button to stop
recording.
1.3. Recording from Microphone
Click "Microphone" button to start recording from
microphone. Drag
to adjust record volume, and make the amplitude of the waveform around 2/3 of
the maximum value, to get the best quality. Click "Stop" button to stop
recording.

Select Part to be Produced.

button to start playing music.
2.2. Click
button on the left to set the start point of the ringtone.
2.3. Click
button on the right to set the end point of the ringtone.

jump forward 200ms.

button to jump backward 200ms.

jump forward 500ms.

to jump backward 500ms.

button to preview the ringtone from start to end point .

button to preview the last few seconds of the ringtone.

button to continue playing music.

2.11. The 6 buttons
on the left are used to set the start point, and the 6 buttons on the right
are used to set the end point.
You can set large jump, small jump and end part preview time in "Options" dialog
box.
3. Adjust
volume.
3.1. Drag
to adjust play volume when playing music. After adjusting play volume, you need
also adjust record volume.
3.2. Drag
to adjust record volume, and make the amplitude of the waveform around 2/3 of
the maximum value, to get the best quality.

Note: if you are converting ringtone from media file, adjusting record volume will only affect the display of the waveform, and will not change the actual volume of the ringtone. Check "Normalize" button on "Options" dialog box to maximize the ringtone volume.
4.
Convert to Ringtone
After you selected start and end point and adjusted volume, click
button to start converting. Stop all other music playing before conversion, for
example online music or game.
5.
Save the Ringtone as file
Once the conversion completes, click
button to open "Save File" dialog box, select right ringtone format for your
mobile phone model, and then save the ringtone as file. Now you can upload it
into your phone. If you don't know which format to be used for your phone,
please see the manual of your mobile phone.
6. Upload
Ringtone into your Mobile Phone
Currently all new model phones come with phone management software. You can
upload the ready made ringtone into your mobile phone through Infrared,
Bluetooth or data cable with the software.
